Where to Find Live Music in Denver Colorado

When you’re in the city of Denver Colorado and looking for music… it’s everywhere. In fact, it can be tough to choose which venue, brewery, or bar to go to! Here are the top venues around the city of our home town, Denver:

1. Red Rocks. If you’re looking for live music near Denver, you gotta check here first. It is absolutely beautiful, provides a huge amount of seating, and gets you a straight shot view of Denver from the bleachers. This amphitheater attracts talent from around the world!

2. Fillmore Auditorium. Located in the center of Denver, this is an incredibly nice concert venue that is one of three theatres that attract the big band names as well as local talent.

3. Ogden Theatre. Again, right in the center of Denver, this Theatre is filled with history and talent. They also focus heavily on their environmental impact which is fantastic.

4. Pepsi Center. This place hosts all kinds of sports events. However, some big names roll through here once in a while. Plenty of seating in a modern and updated interior.

5. El Chapultepec. This is a much smaller venue that makes up for it in charm. This place has been playing primarily jazz since 1933. This place also has legendary Mexican food.

6. Mercury Café. This is a pretty funky place no doubt about it. They consider themselves to be a “three ring circus with music, dance, and theatre and poetry.” They have such a variety throughout their venue that you’ll be sure to find something you like. They also have a lot of dance classes which are a fun way to mix it up.

7. Laramie Lounge is also huge in the art district (and delicious food district) of RiNo. This venue is mostly focused on Indie Rock.

8. A couple others you should check out for open mics: Syntax Physic Opera, The Meadowlark (Lumineers actually started here), and the Squire Lounge.

Plus, pretty much all Breweries have some kind of live music going on during the week. Walk around and see what catches your ear! We’ll be playing in a couple of these venues soon, so make sure you subscribe below to know when and where we’ll be.
